Recurring transactions
Recurring transactions are the bills, subscriptions and paychecks that repeat. FlyBudget shows what's due, what's paid, and what's coming up.
Adding one
On Recurring, choose Add recurring and fill in the name, payee, account, amount and how often it repeats: weekly, every two weeks, twice a month, monthly, quarterly, twice a year or yearly. The amount can be exact, approximate or variable, which helps FlyBudget match it.
Tick Auto-create transactions and FlyBudget adds the transaction for you on its due date.
Find recurring
Already have a few months of transactions? Find recurring looks for payees that repeat on a regular schedule with similar amounts and suggests them. Tick the ones you want and they're created, already linked to the past payments.
Paid, upcoming and missed
When a transaction arrives that matches a recurring item (same payee, close to the expected date and amount), FlyBudget links them and marks it paid. Suggestions it isn't sure about appear at the top of the page for you to confirm.
- Monthly shows this month's items as a list or a calendar, with totals for income and expenses.
- All recurring lists everything with its next date and status: missed, due, upcoming or scheduled. How far ahead counts as "upcoming" is up to you.
Upcoming bills also appear on the dashboard.
